In a mixer jar, add chillies, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander powder, ajwain, and coriander leaves and grind them.
Take the ground mixture in a bowl and add turmeric powder, white sesame seeds, rice flour, asafoetida powder, salt, a little water and gram flour to it.
Mix the ingredients well.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Take a colocasia leaf and remove the thick veins from the centre. Gently flatten them with a rolling pin and apply the mixture on it.
Add another colocasia leaf on top of the mixture and apply the mixture on it.
Add another colocasia leaf on top of the mixture and apply the mixture on it.
Fold the sides of the leaves to form a roll.
Put the roll in a steamer and steam it for 15 minutes.
Take the roll out of the steamer and let it cool.
Cut the roll into pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces until they are crispy.
The fried pieces are now ready to be served.
