Prepare the Base: Take two medium-sized onions and chop them finely. Add half a finely chopped tomato.
Add Flavour and Texture:
Crush some groundnuts (or roasted peanuts) and add them.
Add some coriander Leaves.
Include chilli powder according to your spice preference; you can also use one green chilli, finely chopped.
Add a little chaat masala.
Season with a tiny bit of black salt and regular salt.
Squeeze in about half a small spoon of lemon juice.
Mix Thoroughly: Mix all the ingredients well until everything is combined.
Optional Additions:
You can add "aloo bhujia" sev or plain salted sev if you have some.
For extra vegetables, you can grate and add carrots or beetroot.
Add Papad: Just before serving, crush urad papad or potato wafers/chips and mix them in. Do not add them too early, as they will become soft due to the moisture from the other ingredients.
