Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh thick yogurt Dahi / Curd
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn boiled (boiled with a pinch of salt)
  • 1/2 tomato seeds removed, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 small carrot peeled and finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 1 spicy green chilli sliced and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts coarsely crushed
  • Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • Optional: 2-3 tablespoons chopped beetroot or 1 tablespoon fresh cream malai
  • Optional Tempering Tadka: 1 tsp Ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and a pinch of asafoetida (hing).

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of fresh, thick yogurt. Whisk the yogurt thoroughly until it becomes completely smooth and creamy.
  • Step 2: To the whisked yogurt, add the boiled sweet corn, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumber, chopped carrots, and finely chopped onion.
  • Step 3: Next, add the freshly chopped coriander leaves and green chilli to your Dahi Corn Salad Recipe mixture.
  • Step 4: Gently mix all the colourful vegetables and corn with the yogurt until everything is well combined.
  • Step 5: Add salt to taste, the powdered sugar, and the coarsely crushed roasted peanuts. Mix again properly.
  • Step 6: Your refreshing Dahi Corn Salad Recipe is ready! You can serve it as it is, or add an optional tempering (tadka) of heated ghee, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida for extra flavour.
