  • Less than 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala

Instructions

  • Prep the Guava: Start by taking a large guava and chopping it into bite-sized pieces. This Spicy Guava Chaat Recipe works great even if your guava isn't naturally very sweet!
  • Add the Spices: In a mixing bowl, add your freshly chopped guava along with the red chilli powder, black salt, and amchur powder (or a splash of lemon juice).
  • Enhance the Flavour: Sprinkle the cumin powder, chaat masala, powdered sugar, and regular salt over the fruit. The tiny bit of powdered sugar perfectly balances the tangy and spicy flavours.
  • Mix Well: Toss all the ingredients together thoroughly so that every piece of guava is beautifully coated with the dry spice mix.
  • Garnish and Serve: Finish off your delicious Chatpatit Peru by garnishing it with freshly washed and chopped coriander leaves. Give it one last gentle mix and enjoy!
