Ensure the thin poha is clean and ready to use.
In a mixing bowl, add the chopped cucumber, onion, tomato, coriander leaves, and grated fresh coconut and mix well.
Add powdered sugar and salt to the mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Heat oil in a tadka pan, add cumin seeds, ginger, asafoetida (hing powder), green chillies, and curry leaves. Saute well.
Add the prepared tempering to the poha mixture. Ensure it cools slightly before adding.
Squeeze lemon juice over the mixture.
Use your hands to mix everything together gently but thoroughly, ensuring the flavors combine well.
The Patal Poha is ready to serve.
Optional : You can also add coconut water for a different twist.
