In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped cabbage, grated potato (after squeezing out excess water), coarsely chopped green peas, chopped coriander leaves, and chopped onion.
Add the white sesame seeds, carom seeds (ajwain), hing (asafoetida), cumin-coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, crushed (ginger, garlic and green chillies). Mix everything well.
Add the gram flour and rice flour. Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are well combined.
Add a pinch of baking soda and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan. Take small portions of the mixture and flatten them into small patties. Carefully slide these patties into the hot oil.
Fry the patties on medium heat, ensuring they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Once fried, remove the patties from the pan and drain any excess oil.
Serve them hot and enjoy this unique and flavorful snack.
