I don’t know what to make for breakfast every day, and the kids always want something new for breakfast. The children don’t eat cabbage at all. So this time I made a cabbage breakfast that the kids ate with pleasure. You too should definitely make this breakfast, you will also like it very much.
Ingredients:
- 150 gm finely chopped cabbage
- 1 medium-sized batata (peeled and grated)(excess water squeezed out)
- 1 cup fresh green peas, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 medium-sized chopped onion
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
- A pinch asafetida (hing)
- 1 tsp cumin and coriander seeds powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp (green chilli, ginger, garlic) paste
- 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- A pinch of eating soda

Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped cabbage, grated potato (after squeezing out excess water), coarsely chopped green peas, chopped coriander leaves, and chopped onion.
- Add the white sesame seeds, carom seeds (ajwain), hing (asafoetida), cumin-coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, crushed (ginger, garlic and green chillies). Mix everything well.
- Add the gram flour and rice flour. Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Add a pinch of baking soda and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan. Take small portions of the mixture and flatten them into small patties. Carefully slide these patties into the hot oil.
- Fry the patties on medium heat, ensuring they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Once fried, remove the patties from the pan and drain any excess oil.
- Serve them hot and enjoy this unique and flavorful snack.
