Grind the roasted onions, garlic, roasted green chillies, ginger, roasted tomato, roasted dry coconut, and coriander leaves into a fine paste with a little water.
Heat oil in a pot.
Add the bay leaves and the ground paste.
Saute the mixture on medium heat until oil is released.
Add cumin-coriander powder, chicken masala, salt, and Kolhapuri masala.
Saute for a minute on low heat.
Add turmeric powder and mix well.
Add the cleaned chicken and mix well. Saute on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Add hot water according to the desired consistency.
Simmer on low heat until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve hot.
