In a bowl, combine the grated potatoes, poha (flattened rice), spring onion, coriander, and chopped onion.
Add turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt, green chilli and ginger-garlic paste, asafoetida, and carom seeds.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Add besan (gram flour), gradually add wheat flour and mix without adding water.
Add a little water if needed and knead into a soft dough.
Apply some oil on the dough.
Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a paratha.
Heat an iron tawa and spread some oil on it. cook the paratha until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with yogurt and chutney.
Optional : Add ½ tsp dry mango powder.
