You might also know me from my YouTube channel, “Maharashtrian Recipes“, which has a wonderful community of over 900,000 subscribers. I started my YouTube journey back in 2017. Originally from Satara, I currently live in Navi Mumbai with my husband and two children.
My YouTube Journey: Sharing the Taste of Home
My journey into sharing recipes online began after moving from Satara to Navi Mumbai. Growing up with the unique culinary traditions of Satara and Kolhapur, I found my new neighbours in Navi Mumbai often curious about my cooking. They frequently asked for help, especially during festive times like Diwali when making traditional snacks (faral).
It was this warm interest and a suggestion from a friend who loved my food that inspired me to launch my YouTube channel, hoping to bring the taste of Maharashtra to a wider audience.
Why I Started This Blog
