Ingredients:
- Paste:
- 7-8 Green Chilli
- 1/2 Inch Ginger
- 9-10 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Ajwain
- 1/2 Cup of Coriander Leaves
- Alu Leaves Vadi / Colocasia Leaf Vadi:
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour
- A Pinch of Hing / Asafetida
- Salt to taste
- Water
- 1 Cup of Besan / Gram Flour
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Oil
- 6 Colocasia leaf / Alu Leaves / Patra Leaves

Instructions:
- In a mixer jar, add chillies, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander powder, ajwain, and coriander leaves and grind them.
- Take the ground mixture in a bowl and add turmeric powder, white sesame seeds, rice flour, asafoetida powder, salt, a little water and gram flour to it.
- Mix the ingredients well.
- Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Take a colocasia leaf and remove the thick veins from the centre. Gently flatten them with a rolling pin and apply the mixture on it.
- Add another colocasia leaf on top of the mixture and apply the mixture on it.
- Add another colocasia leaf on top of the mixture and apply the mixture on it.
- Fold the sides of the leaves to form a roll.
- Put the roll in a steamer and steam it for 15 minutes.
- Take the roll out of the steamer and let it cool.
- Cut the roll into pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces until they are crispy.
- The fried pieces are now ready to be served.
