Quick Healthy Breakfast Recipe

Make a breakfast from potatoes, which children will eat with pleasure and you can also give it for tiffin.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium-sized potato peeled and finely grated
  • 1 cup fresh fenugreek leaves cleaned, chopped, and drained
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 2 small boiled potatoes peeled, cooled, and grated
  • 1 tbps Ginger, garlic, and green chilli paste
  • ½ tsp asafoetida powder hing
  • 1 tsp carom seeds ajwian
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin-coriander powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Wheat flour
  • 2,1/2 tbsp gram flour besan
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine grated raw potato, fenugreek leaves, coriander leaves, grated boiled potatoes, ginger-garlic-chilli paste, asafoetida powder (hing), carom seeds (ajwain), sesame seeds, cumin-coriander powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder. Mix well.
  • Add wheat flour and gram flour.
  • Add salt and mix thoroughly without adding water initially.
  • Add water gradually to form a stiff dough.
  • Take a portion of the dough and roll it out thinly.
  • Heat an iron tawa or pan and grease it with oil.
  • Place the rolled dough on the hot tawa and cook until golden brown on both sides, pressing to ensure even cooking.
  • Serve hot with yogurt, tomato sauce, chutneys, or pickles.
  • Optionally, add 2 spoons of ghee or oil to the dough.
