Traditional Piyush Recipe For Summer

This traditional Piyush recipe, made using Shrikhand and buttermilk, is typically prepared in the summer.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp of Shrikhand
  • 1 glass of buttermilk not too thin or sour
  • 1 tsp of cardamom, nutmeg and sugar powder
  • Crushed crystal sugar
  • 3-4 strands of saffron soaked in milk
  • A little water
  • Pieces of almonds, cashews, and pistachios

Instructions
 

  • In a mixer, combine 2 spoons of Shrikhand and 1 glass of buttermilk.
  • Add cardamom, nutmeg powder, and sugar powder.
  • Add Crushed Khadisakhar.
  • Add saffron-milk mixture.
  • Add a little water.
  • Blend everything in the mixer.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with pieces of almonds, cashews, and pistachios.
  • Optional: Add ice cubes or chill in the fridge before serving.
