Unique Simple Okra Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 300-350 gm Okra / Bhindi
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Mint Leaves
  • 6-7 Green chillies
  • 8-9 Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp Roasted Peanuts Powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash, wipe and cut 300-350 grams of Bhindi (Okra).
  • In a mixer jar, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, garlic, and roasted peanuts and grind coarsely.
  • In a pan, heat 1 spoonful of oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • Add the coarsely ground mixture and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add the Bhindi (Okra) and mix well.
  • Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add salt and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice or dry mango powder and mix well.
  • The Unique Simple Okra Recipe is ready to serve.
