Ingredients
  

  • Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 medium sized onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilli Paste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 medium sized chopped tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Kanda Lasun Masala
  • 250 grams of capsicum (Shimla Mirch), washed and chopped
  • 2 tbsp peanut powder (Roasted Peanuts)
  • 3-4 tbsp Water

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and one medium-sized onion. Saute the onion, then add (ginger, garlic, and green chilli) paste. Saute for one minute.
  • Add turmeric powder and one medium-sized chopped tomato, then saute for one minute.
  • Add salt to taste and one spoonful of kanda lasun masala, then mix well.
  • Add two medium-sized peeled and chopped potatoes. Saute for two to three minutes.
  • Add 250 grams of washed and chopped capsicum. Saute for one minute.
  • Add two spoons of peanut powder and mix well.
  • Optionally, add a little water and mix well.
  • Cover with a lid and cook for ten minutes on low heat.
  • Then serve and enjoy this Aloo Shimla Mirch Recipe.
