  • 1Heat oil in a pan.

  • 2Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.

  • 3When they start to crackle, add peanuts and fry until they turn light brown.

  • 4Add onions and lightly fry them.

  • 5Add turmeric powder and green chilli-ginger-garlic paste.

  • 6Cook for 2 minutes, on medium flame.

  • 7Add tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.

  • 8Add pav bhaji masala, pav bhaji powder, red chilli powder, salt, and coriander leaves, and mix. Then, add cabbage and mix it for 1 minute.

  • 9Put the lid on the pan for 5-7 minutes on low heat. Mix it occasionally, until the cabbage is softened.

  • 10Add chaat masala and Maggi masala to taste (optional).

  • 11Add cooked rice and cook for 2-3 minutes, mixing it occasionally until the rice is mixed well.

  • 12Add chopped coriander and mix well.

  • 13Serve hot.
