Quick Bhel Recipe | Bhel Recipe

Made Bhel quickly using murmura (puffed rice) and poha (Flattened rice). Do try it, you will like it very much.

Ingredients
  

  • Chopped medium-sized onion
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Thinly sliced green chilli
  • Chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp of jaggery
  • Salt to taste
  • 1.5 tsp of a special masala
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tbsp of roasted chana dal
  • 2-3 tbsp of khardaane salted peanuts
  • 1 bowl of thin poha (Flattened rice that has been toasted on a hot pan)
  • 1 bowl of murmura puffed rice
  • Mixed farsan
  • A little kashmiri chili powder for added color
  • 1 tsp of kanda lasun masala along with 1 tsp of oil alternative

Special Masala :

  • Special Masala :
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp regular salt
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp Amchur powder
  • 1 tsp sugar powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder

Instructions
 

  • In a medium-sized bowl, add chopped medium-sized onion, chopped tomatoes, and thinly sliced green chilli.
  • Then add chopped coriander, jaggery, salt to taste, and special masala.
  • Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, ensuring to remove the seeds.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Add 2 tbsp of roasted chana dal and 2-3 tbsp of khardaane (salted peanuts).
  • Add 1 bowl of thin poha that has been toasted on a hot pan, and 1 bowl of murmura.
  • Add mixed farsan and mix everything thoroughly.
  • For added colour, include a little kashmiri chilli powder.
  • As an alternative, you can use 1 tsp of kanda lasun masala along with 1 tsp of oil.
  • Mix well and serve.
