Masaledar Paneer | Spicy Paneer Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium-sized onions
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 garlic head (10-12 Garlic Cloves)
  • 1 Inch piece of ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • Oil
  • 1 Black Cardamom
  • 1 Inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds Powder
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 250 gm Paneer Chopped
  • Coriander Leaves

Instructions
 

  • Lightly roast the onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, and green chillies in a pan with a little oil.
  • After roasting, grind these ingredients into a fine paste without adding water.
  • In a heated pan with oil, add black cardamom, a piece of cinnamon, bay leaf, and cumin seeds then saute this well.
  • Add the ground paste to the pan and saute for about 2 minutes until oil separates.
  • Then add garam masala powder, jeera powder, dhane powder, red chilli powder, haldi, and salt. Saute this mixture for another 2 minutes.
  • Add about one cup of water to the mixture, adjusting the quantity based on the desired consistency and mix it well.
  • Cover the pan and let the mixture cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add 250 gm of paneer to the gravy and mix it well.
  • Cover the pan and cook until the paneer is heated through and the gravy has thickened to your preference.
  • Serve and enjoy this Masaledar Paneer.
